He's Back!

My dad just arrived in Korea!  If you remember from our blog a while back, my dad made an epic journey to Korea a year ago.  Last time he was here we got to show him our life in Korea and we toured Seoul.  This time he gets to hang out with Everett!

The last time my dad saw Everett he was about eight weeks old.
Everett has done "a little" growing since then...
Everett gave his Gramps a big toothy grin and a hug when he saw him!

It was near Everett's bedtime when my dad arrived, but we got some story time in before Everett crashed for the evening. Everett got to show Gramps his latest skill--turning the pages when we read a book.
These Hallmark Recordable Books are fantastic. This was a book my mom recorded for Everett, which he loves.  Every day for the past week we have been going through the book my dad recorded for E before we moved back to Korea.  We wanted to get Everett use to hearing Gramps' voice.  I think it was a success! There was no "stranger danger" anxiety when they saw each other today (the same cannot be said about our cleaning lady--E is TERRIFIED of her).
Tomorrow we are going on a Korean road trip to Sokcho, which is in the northeast part of Korea.  It may be hard for us to update the blog while we're away, so we'll post things as soon as we can later this weekend.

Everett, You and Gramps look like you are old buds. You can really see how much you've grown when Gramps holds you up next to him. You are half as tall as Gramps already :)
You all have fun. Sending lots of love to all,
Granny Jer

That post made me cry, and then I read your mom's comment and just laughed! Enjoy your time!
