Boo! Halloween 2013

Halloween was so fun this year with our two boys!  This year Everett was old enough to understand more of what Halloween is about (CANDY!) and he got really into trick-or-treating, so we had such a great time.  As we've mentioned many times, Everett is a bit obsessed with Thomas the Train so it was kind of a no brainer that he would be Thomas for Halloween.  Baby Asher was Thomas' fearless leader, Sir Topham Hatt.
Asher's pre-costume attire.  This use to be E's!
To prepare Everett for Halloween we had him where his Thomas conductor hat around the house.  The hat was a sweet gift from Uncle James and Aunt Jen for E's birthday and it is so dang awesome.  Seriously, how cute is E in this picture?
The Thomas costume was a labor of love.  We worked a few nights to get it ready for Halloween.  Here is our work after the first night.
This is the second or third night of working on it.
Tom rigged up straps on the costume from old suitcase straps.  This picture was E seeing the costume for the first time and getting his straps custom fitted.

The final product!
Time to Trick or Treat!  E LOVED IT!!! He just kept saying, "More Neighbors."
Uncle James and Aunt Jen joined us for the evening.
And so did crazy Granny dressed as a witch!  So fun!
Love this one.
I love this picture.  After we got home Everett was playing with his trains while dressed as a train. Ha.
Everett was also really into handing out candy to the other kids.  He sprinted to the door anytime someone knocked.  Needless to say, it was a late night for Everett.  He did not want to go to sleep with so much excitement.

Halloween 2013 was a big success!
