We tried out this sweet ride during our trip to Hy-Vee today. I think it was a big win!

30 Years
At the end of September my parents celebrated their 30th anniversary. How awesome is that?! We were able to celebrate this great milestone together as a family. My mom and dad are both such a great example of how to be a loving spouse and parent. Words fail to express how blessed we are by them.
I finally got my hands on some pictures from their anniversary celebration. Who is that tall guy on the right?
Stealing a phrase from my Papa, here are the "real" Robertson's:

Way to go Mom and Dad. 30 years is an awesome, long time!

Park time
This Sunday Bonnie and I took E to English Landing Park in Parkville, MO. It was a great place to let our little man explore and play. We ate it up too because of the massive trees with their falling leaves and its location right on the banks of the Mighty Mo.
Bonnie and E chilling in the rocket ship!
There was even a pint-sized picnic table.
E had a great time (though his face is a little stoic in the pic above) and so did we. We will definitely be back to this great park.

Halloween!
Our first Halloween stateside with Everett was a blast. He we dressed him up as a pilot and took him trick-or-treating at a few of the neighbors' houses. The shirt and pants we used were leftover from his ring bearer tux for James and Jennifer's wedding. We had to go pretty early since his bedtime is 7PM but it still went really well. Granny and Gramps came over to share in the fun. Here are some pics of the big day.
Getting a family pic was challenging...
E making his way up the steps to our Drew and Lindsey Osbourne's house. His first trick-or-treat stop ever!
One of our neighbors let E pick out his own candy. He ended up choosing a sucker.
Moments later he had ripped the paper off himself and placed the sucker in his mouth. It was not a pretty separation when the time came.
The good captain on his plane.
A great first American Halloween is in the books!

Halloween Preview
We took a lot of pictures last night, but here is a quick preview from Everett's first American Halloween experience.
This pic was taken from inside the house of Drew and Lindsey Osborne (our neighbors and friends). It was the first house E every trick or treated at! More pics of Captain Everett (the Southwest Pilot) to come...
