Everett's Birthday--Part 2

If you saw our previous post you noticed we had a "Skarloey Train Party" for E for his third birthday.  Since the train park only schedules rides on Friday's, Everett's birthday party was a few days before his actual birthday on July 22nd.  We still wanted the 22nd to feel special so we started the day off with E's favorite breakfast treat, eggs, and then we opened some presents.

You may notice the giant Dusty sticker on his chest.  That sticker even lights up!

E was pumped to get a wooden Skarloey for his birthday!
One of E's new (and by new I mean a killer garage sale find) gifts was a Marble Works (or Marble Run) set. Aside from learning how to be responsible with marbles around his little brother, the set has been a huge win!
Next we headed to Crown Center to eat at the "Train Place" (Fritz's) where trains deliver your meal to your table.  You can see the trains along the ceiling in the picture below where only Tom was successful at looking at the camera.

E is watching the tray with our food lower itself down to the table.

Crown Center usually has a free kids exhibit and this summer it was all about green living.  Everett LOVED playing in the car and pretending to fill it up with gas.
The night ended with party hats, a cookie cake, and family.  It was a great day!

At age three Everett is a chatty (at least around us) and an inquisitive little man.  He has a deep love of trains and anything he can build.  He constantly wants to help us with things around the house, especially anything involving Tom's power tools. He is a family guy.  He loves for us to play with him and he has the sweetest connection with his little brother.  We are so thankful for the past three years and the many more years to come with Big E!
