A few days ago our little man turned two months old! Baby Asher spent his 2 month old "birthday" at a sleep over with Granny and Gramps because we were with Everett at the hospital. This was not exactly how Tom and I pictured our first night away from our little babe, but we are thankful he did so well for Granny and Gramps. He actually slept way more for them than he usually does for us at night, which we attributed to Gramps' snoring baby skills. Granny and Gramps also took him to his doctor check up and the doctor reported that he's doing great! He's over 14.3 lbs, which puts him above the 95th percentile for weight. He was 23.75 inches long, which is over the 80th percentile for length.
Here are some pictures from his first two months:
| Granny rocks and "sings" this ridiculous song called "Bye Baby Bye" and for some reason it always puts Asher to sleep. |
| AJ is wearing his "Kid City" shirt, which is from our church. |
| Hanging out on his quilt from Great Grandma Luebbert. |
| I seriously love his hair. |
| "Everett hold baby Asher." |
| Gramps is way better than a vibrating bouncy seat! He jiggles Asher in such a way that he seems to always be able to put AJ to sleep. |
| Asher wearing camo from Grandma Jean and Grandpa Meyer. Everett also wanted to share his toys with Asher, hence the digger and plane. |
| His favorite way to sleep. |
| Asher rocking his sweet smile! |
| How sweet is this? This was an outfit E wore around Halloween when he was little. We're a tad off on our seasons and sizes of clothes but we're making it work. The temperature has majorly dropped here so it was time for baby Asher to snuggle up in some warm monster fleece. |
We love this little guy. He enjoys being on the move (rocking, swinging, jiggling, bopping up and down) and he always seems to know whenever we try to sit down or remain still. His sleeping has been a bit sporadic. One night he is up every 2-3 hours and then the next night he'll go six hours straight, but I think we're starting to get some of those kinks worked out. He's been smiling, cooing, and interacting with us, which is so much fun! We're so thankful for this great little man.
