Wrapping Up

We have about 2.5 weeks left in the school year and that means things are starting to get wrapped up. I had my last grad school class this past weekend and will "graduate" on June 12th. That means I will get most of my weekends back next year! I say "graduate" because I won't actually be in attendance. Bonnie is in a wedding on June 4th in Columbia, MO and I am a leaving early with her since she will be at 32 weeks at that point in time. There was no way I was going to have my pregnant wife make a 24 hours journey on her own.

All that I have left for grad school is one 6-ish page paper for the class I just finished and my defense of my project document (similar to a thesis). My defense will be done via ooVoo (similar to skype) since I will be back in the US. I just sent what I think is my completed project document to my supervising professor. It ended up being 68 pages, 15900 words, 84, 622 characters, and 98,583 characters with spaces. I have never in my life put together anything remotely close to that big.

If I have learned one thing from this project document experience it is that I have no desire to write a book. I can't wait to be officially done!

Hello Team Meyer - I just want to say thank you for your amazing blog! When we first got our jobs at GSIS I searched for blogs from teachers and found yours - I was really excited to see the video of the apartment, as it just helps to give us a real perspective of what it will be like. We are counting down to July 26 when we start to travel towards Korea - so all the best for the process of leaving!
